What is Fair Trade?

The Fairtrade movement aims to help communities in developing countries and promote sustainable living.
Paying a fair price for exported goods like handicrafts, coffee, cocoa, sugar, tea, bananas, wine, chocolate and flowers can make a world of difference to the communities that produce them, enabling those communities to plan and build schools and other infrastructure; and to live more sustainably whilst reducing their dependency on international aid.
